Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health

The perinatal period and the journey through fertility challenges can bring profound emotional shifts, changes in who you feel you are, and a lot of uncertainty. Many people experience grief, anxiety, self-blame, or feeling disconnected during this time—even when they look like they're managing fine on the outside.

I offer online therapy to adults navigating perinatal and fertility concerns with an approach that's emotionally attuned, reflective, and grounded in real psychological understanding.

Emotional Experiences During Perinatal and Fertility Transitions

You might be dealing with things like:

  • Pregnancy anxiety or mood changes during pregnancy or postpartum

  • The stress of infertility or going through fertility treatments

  • Grief after pregnancy loss or when things don't go as you hoped

  • Shifts in your identity, your relationships, or how you see yourself

  • Postpartum depression

  • Birth trauma

These experiences are deeply personal and often complicated by what your culture, relationships, or society expects of you.

My approach blends psychodynamic and trauma-informed perspectives, paying attention to how your identity, the roles you play in relationships, and your earlier experiences all shape how you're feeling during this time. I want to create a space where you can explore complex, messy feelings with care—without any pressure to "move on" or act like it's not as hard as it is.

We work together at a pace that makes sense for where you are. I offer all sessions through secure telehealth for adults in San Diego, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and throughout California.
